Just caught the vid for their new single this morning on B4 6.50-7.15am, (watch it people), and they really reminded me of Steps of old. They seem to have recruited 2 lasses, when 2 previous songs had only male vocals. The track is called This is the world we live in, which is a line taken from another song, which is bugging the tits off me. So it's a kind of danced up cover, but it's good, in a CHEESY way! Can I just add as well, that Crying in the discotheque, their first song I think, is Pure and Utter brilliance! Should have been TOP 5 easily! Anyone tell me the relase date for it, I will look up their line up, cos it's deffo changed!

Earl P will not be pleased! *doesn't really care* But it's been like this on & off for the last 18 months or so, so it's not really his fault. Some of it is though...

If I remember rightly, they had 2 women and 1 fella before. Now there's another fella. This isnt as good as CATD (what is? ) but it's nice enough.

Yep! They were one man & two ladies, they added a bloke who looks exactly like the other one...bit confusing eh.. I already know 3 of their songs & they're all very good, crying at the discotheque being the best one. They're HUGE in Italy & even "Sexual guarantee" which was very average did great there.

Nope, it was not only male vocal Andy. Oh yeah i did loved Crying At The Discotheque, but their follow ups were not appealing but fortunately they will get huge success with 'The Way We Live In'.

Alcazar are aimed at the gay clubs in Europe. (So I'm told). If you really miss Steps try downloading another Swedish band called Da Buzz.

Oh I love this alcazar song. I've been playing it MONTHS @ work and even foresaked my trance love to have it as tune of the week a couple of months ago! I Don't think they can be compared to steps though, I don't really know if the song will be a hit here, much as I want it to be
