I've just been on the two day Camden Crawl which was an amazing chance to see a load of the best up and coming acts (although The Fratellis were added who were really moshtastic) and I saw this bunch of lads. They look a bit folk- boy bandy but their music is quality, intelligent and beautiful - think Belle and Sebastian, Danny Wilson, etc Single 'Shape of my Heart' out 5th May - according to Manic's great list. - album out soon. Supporting Zutons but doing a few live shows of their own which I'd better see. Check out their myspace www.myspace.com/noahandthewhaleand the joytastic track '5 Years time'

I really liked '2 Bodies, 1 Heart', not heard anything else though.

'Shape of My Heart' turned out to be a no.94 SMASH! Still top 100 isn't too bad for an indie act nowadays. Wonder how their album will do.

The next single is "5 Years Time", and is out 21st July and the self-titled album follows on 4th August.
#94 is better than I was expecting as it was only Top 170 in the midweeks - but Manic says that was purely physical sales and downloads were added later!

I bought the single actually, physical CD. But only because I couldn't find a decent download version of it. At lesat the CD was only £1.99 or I just wouldn't have bothered. Song is ok.
They need to get their music on iTunes Plus and 7-Digital and tunetribe...

How about if they were playing a gig with Kid Harpoon, and the Mules... we did wonder if one would end up hunting the other while riding the third

Sexy! They were great when I saw them earlier this month - only issue is that the lead singer was as drunk as a skunk. But overall they so deserve to be big - they are an intriguing mix of being happy and very menacing at the same time.

I really like 5 years time has grown on me, but I'm not into their music for some reason, apart from their latest offering.

#21 on iTunes now, and Top 40 in the midweeks! I'm shocked, but also very happy that this is becoming a hit.
