232-4 at tea.
Pietersen made 100. Collingwood still there on 49.

England all out for 316. Collingwood made 61. Harmison was left stranded on 49 not out when he went for a suicidal single to get to his 50, resulting in Panesar being run out.
Anderson got Smith lbw in SA's first over of their second innings and they ended the day on 37-1, 85 behind.

Harmison's 49 could prove to be very useful! We need an early wicket though as it's going to be a rain affected day I think?

Nice way to finish it, with Flintoff's six. A decent consolation win. No more tests until December

Nice way to finish it, with Flintoff's six. A decent consolation win. No more tests until December Thanks to the sodding Champions Trophy. Nice to get a win on the board though I always suspected they would after losing the 3rd test. SA never seemed to be firing on all cylinders at the Oval. 2-1 was probably a fair result in the end. SA were the best team for much of the series though England could've won it 3-1 if they'd taken their chances. Still the one day series to come but with the Olympics and the start of the footy season, it could go completely unnoticed...

England reach their target in less than 15 overs for a 10-wicket win!
England lead the series 2-0 with 3 to play.
