4/8 charted (haven't heard your NEs yet), 2 more bubbled with varying "success" - Kid Rock was around 32-36 for several weeks, whereas Katy Perry would be at #50.

Noah & The Whale were a whisker away from pipping Katy Perry to #1, but their making this a 3rd week at #2 equals 2008's record.
Here are some of this chart's other biggest songs of the year that didn't make it to #1:
British Sea Power - 'Waving Flags' (6-3-2-6) 13/1 Newton Faulkner - 'Dream Catch Me' (4-2-2-6-7) 27/1 Alphabeat - 'Fascination' (5-2-3-4-10) 24/2 R.E.M - 'Supernatural Superserious' (3-4-6-7-6-10) 02/3 MGMT - 'Time To Pretend' (2-2-2-5-7) 09/3 Amy McDonald - 'Run' (6-8-5-10-3-4-7-9) 09/3 Ashlee Simpson - 'Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya)' (2-2-4-5-10) 27/4 Vampire Weekend - 'Oxford Comma' (3-7-9) 18/5 Futureheads - 'Radio Heart' (4-4-4-6) 25/5 Scooter - 'Jumping All Over The World' (7-2-5) 01/6 Little Man Tate - 'What Your Boyfriend Said' (3-4-5-5-4-8) 15/6 Urbnri - 'Back Me Up' (2-2-4-5) 22/6 Infadels - 'Free Things For Poor People' (3-3-2-3-5) 22/6 Jonas Brothers - 'S.O.S' (8-8-7-9-7-9) 22/6 Kid Rock - 'All Summer Long' (8-2-3-5-6-7-...) 06/7 Original Cast Recording - 'Honey Honey' (4-7-8-6-...) 20/7
