I'm a massive fan of the Harry Potter books, but not the films. I understand that they can't put everything from the books into the films, but when they put stuff in the films that was not in the books, then for me as a Harry Potter fan it ruins the enjoyment of the film.
Order of the Phoenix was the worst for doing this. Which is annoying because that is probably my favorite of the seven books.
But I will still go and see The Half Blood Prince, there are some great bits in the book, that I hope make it to the film.

I was so miffed when I read this on DS. Potter and Bond were my two autumn treats. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/999290/images/xKFbNBMdczwHHIvwbxXw.gif) Plus "Star Trek" already got shunted out of its Christmas 2008 slot to summer 2009! I'm rapidly running out of year end highlights!

I know the whole reason why this has been shunted. With 2 movies based on Wizards & Vampires, Harry Potter executives didn't want both movies to clash.
Another Christmas blockbuster called Twilight, based about a vampire, based on the Novel by Stephanie Meyer, the movie is going to be awesome, I have the novel, just waiting to be read. There are 4 novels all together so far, New Moon is the follow up, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn
Star Trek is due for release May 2009
And the biggest blockbuster for Easter will be The Watchmen, based on the comics books release date has been confirmed for March 6, 2009

It's a shame - you hardly get big movies for winter nowadays - and that's when I most enjoy such movies.

and i realise by statign bond...that it is another film they may make more money than, but enlgish made movies, like not to cramp other english movies styles...what i didnt like reading was the fact that there will be a royal premiere in november, regardless the film comgin outn 6 months later...meaning that some diiots, are gonna make a killing off the film, by letting their tickets on ebay to sell, as it will be exclusive, for at least 6 months....aaaaaaaaaaaaarghhhhh, a way of the film studios hunting touts....why?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? or maybe just a publicity stunt, cos the movie's still ready. i dont get why they would need to do this anywya.
