Here is a Link to Madonna's version of ABBA's 'Like An Angel Passing Through My Room'. She covered it during the 'Ray Of Light' sessions. (OR during the sessions for 'Music'. Depending which Madonna Fan you talk to). ABBA recorded it for their 'The Visitors' Album, in 1981. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHojUm_C-vo I think it would - easily - be a No.1 Single for Madonna.

Presumably a straight cover this time, not a riff rip.

I don't believe in covers of Abba songs. Well, whether you believe in them or not - they exist! LOL! ;D

First Post. And it's a rant! sorry...
Isn't it odd, in the week Mrs Richie celebrates her 50th, that an unofficial leak puts out a track guaranteed to get her target market (ie the Queens of a certain age) flapping. I'm always dubious at how some of these 'leaks' occur. See also: U2 this week: "We were playing our forthcoming album - entitled "no line on the horizon" - really loudly at our villa in the South of France, and a Dutch Fan recorded it on his cellphone and uploaded to YouTube."
That translates as "We need some cheap publicity - including the name of our forthcoming album - entitled "no line on the horizon" - in the papers, so let's ask one of the fans to put this really ropey soundcast up.
Have you listened to the Mrs Ritchie Cut? Godawful, and it's easy to see how it didn't make the album. Mind you, I just remembered that Ray Of Light had Candy Perfume Girl on it, and if they think CPG is any better than this Karaoke dross....
