Released this week and will battle Metallica for the number one spot.
Anyone else bought it? I originally wasn't going to as I thought it might be a bit boring and samey but I love all three singles so did anyway and I'm really glad I have. It's all excellent and isn't really samey at all. The new recorded version of 'It's My Own Cheating Heart...' is stunning. Also fantastic to hear a good regional accent in music, too. Another album to add to this years ever increasing list marked 'excellent'!

Mate, this has to be one of the best debut albums ever.
Every track is stunning, especially "Stabbed", "Go Square go", "geraldine", "daddys gone"...they all are.
The only one which I thought was weak was the polmont on my mind track.
Buy, steal whatever, just make sure u get it.
Superb

I agree with those, 'Go Square Go' I thought would be the albums highlight, but I'm not a fan of unnecessary swearing...

It's good - but it's a bit polished, isn't it? Far preferred the originals of the first two singles. This all seems a bit "Let's try and be a bit Snow Patrol" and, as such, they've lost a lot of the emotional resonance.
That said, if I'd never heard the original versions, then this would probably be flawless.

Bought it today, as i liked the current single. Rather disappointed though on first listen.
