so how many do you think they will sell first week for new single and new album I reckon new single should easily sell 70 k plus and album 200 k plus.both will easily be number 1.

60k single and album 220k. I think you guys are way too high with the album. They're not as trendy as the Kings of Leon these days.

How many did DBTT do first week? Think it was well over 200k.
EDIT. 237,865.

No more than 50k for the single, and perhaps 150k for the album, given how many new albums have sold less than expected recently.
Also, they tend to rely on physical singles which are increasingly hard to find.
Either way, I expect Pink's 'So Long' to beat Oasis's single to #1.

The single around 50k ? Album should clear 200K+ easily (Oasis sold 180,000tickets this year in 1 hour )

Pink is also going with a physical and download release in the same week and is currently the #1 most download video.
Don't underestimate her!

Either way, I expect Pink's 'So Long' to beat Oasis's single to #1. Is Pink releasing *another* single? I expect "So What" to do well, never mind her whacking another similarly titled one out!

My prediction is Oasis shall sell below the sales of Kings of Leons in their first week of release (both single and album).
