Nope. Which is a a surprise for me, as I like watching this type of crap.
I don't normally start getting interested till the Boot Camp rounds. Having to sit and go through watching all the awful singing and deliberatly stupid auditions, the novelty is starting to wear verrrrry thin on me now.

Yes I did. They unbelievably put through an old woman who never sang a note but made instrument noises with her mouth and fingers. Bizarre! Liked the woman who sang I Will Always Love You. She can sing.

I wasn't that impressed with the woman at the end whose dad left her an audition form before he died. I Will Always Love You is a song for a powerful voice which she didn't really have. She was an OK singer and deserved to get through but a bad song choice for the auditions.
Rumours are surfacing that Simon is going to get the winner from this year to go head-to-head with new singles from Leona Lewis and Shayne Ward for this year's Christmas #1

Yes just read that. Think this year's winner would trounce both of them.

I agree. Both Leona and Shayne will have their new albums out before Christmas anyway. Plus, I'm not convinced Leona will be as successful as Simon seems to think she will be, and it looks like he has more or less given up on Shayne

Apparently he's hoping to have the top 3 positions this Christmas, with maybe Leona at 2 and Shayne at 3. Yeah right Simon.

Of course he's hoping to have the top 3 in the Christmas chart. That was so obvious it didn't need said! I still wouldn't rule out the possibility they will lock out the top 3 at Christmas just yet. We still need to see how well Leona and Shayne's comeback singles do

I agree - this stage of auditions I find very tedious. My daughter loves them though, so I did watch. A few were OK, but no-one amazing. I still have a major problem with the age limit being dropped. It should have been raised. The 14 year-old who Simon said 'was the reason the limit was dropped' will still be a good singer at 18 - and in a much better position to cope with the music business. Maybe not so easily dominated by Simon and his crew though

what was the point of Dermot, he was never there tooffer a shoulder to cry on, as he is so busy doing BBLB.
Fearne Cotton should have taken over as the main presenter or better still bring back Kate! The Xtra Factor was better than the main show last night

Kate was really excellent at that bit, comforting the contestants, etc, but stuggled on the live shows. I expect Dermot will be the opposite and come into his own in the live shows

If Leona is the star Simon thinks she is, we might have a close race for Christmas #1

Finally got around to watching last weeks episode now. It's not as horrific as I anticipated, but why why why why do they have to drag out and emphasis on the sob stories? Yes, I know some are very sad, but its all a bit gut-wrenching.
The brother and sister singing duet were dreadfully annoying.

I've just been reading about this lady as well. www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/xfactor/1908_singer.shtmlI don't recall her single that she released AT ALL. And it is certainly not listed on any Stock Aitken Waterman discographies anyway. She hasn't been on yet, has she?

She was the final person on last week's show, the one with the excellent sob story that her dad had left her an X Factor application before he died.
I don't remember her solo career either. Maybe it's slightly lazy journalism
