Well, she, unlike many of the others, has prior experience of performing live on TV, she was a 'Star Search' champion last year, which, while it gives her an advantage in the early going, MIGHT mean that she's close to as good as she can get... while other people around her will get better, a bit like Kimberly Caldwell last year (who was in US Popstars 2) God I feel like I know too much! that is true! jasmine was in search for a star though too but she left that to do this

Just watched this, & I felt it was poor overall. My rankings : 1. Jennifer Hudson - fantastic voice but OTT facial expressions, & she DID look awful... 2. Susie Vulaca - she should have got in 3. Elizabeth LeTendre - don't mind her but not upset that she's gone 4. Leah LaBelle - she really ISN'T all that, I agreed with Simon that her performance was all over the place, but at least she has potential And that is where I stop caring, I thought everyone else was dreadful. 5. George Huff - boring 6. Katie Webber - average 7. Matthew Metzger - nice looking, not nice sounding 8. Jon Peter Lewis - UGH! I absolute hate this guy, everything about him from the smarmy attitude to the messy hair to the p1ss-poor voice, & he's in

And am I the only one who thinks that Tiara Purifoy, shaky though she can be, would have been far better than that last four? But she's a girl, & they wanted some guys in, of course

Paula told her she did the 2nd best performance of the series! she was miles better than most of that wildcard group

Paula told her she did the 2nd best performance of the series! I know! That's what doesn't make sense! Second best of the entire series, yet one of the worst of the 12 wildcards? Someone stuffed up. Simon hated her, so I would guess he rather forcefully convinced Paula & Randy that she couldn't cut it...

I wasn't that keen on Tiara, and as sweet as George Huff is, he should NEVER have made it intot he final 12!

To base it on rehearsals annoys me somewhat, as some people really bring it on the nght... ALL of the wildcards should've performed!

The judges shouldn't even be allowed to see the rehearsals, never lone judge them on it. And the whole idea of telling 12 they'd made it then cuttting 4 before they could prove themselves was just cruel, why not cut them before, & spare them the false hope? Everytime the camera focused on the 4 they looked devastated or at least very p*ssed off.

when it showed the 4 why wasnt marque in the picture? had he gone? The word is he was so disgusted at being denied the chance to perform, he stormed out... Felt bad for the others being made to watch others perform, in some cases undeservedly!

I didn't feel that Marque or Yoder were any great loss, however Tiara & Lisa had every right to feel put out.

Well if Yoder had been in he might have splintered the public voted against JPL, which would've been a good thing... Metzger was weak as water... and you get the feeling that Elizabeth and Katie both being in cancelled each other out, and Jennifer Hudson being in hurt Susie Vulaca's chances...

I just watched the repeat again - I feel real sorry for those four who didn't get through. To put them through the whole weeks of rehersal and then tell then that is just wrong! I agree about Elizabeth and Katie cancelling each other out, they were VERY similar

I pretty much agree with you there David! Although I would have had Amy a little lower down. What the hell was Jennifer doing in the bottom three?? For a moment I really thought she was going to go! It must be quite hard for the bottom two to sing before they announce the result - you could tell they didn't enjoy it I think Leah is capable of much more - but she was the worst tonight Some GREAT performances though! Jasmine was just FAB! ;D

The top 6 were all great, and I do admit I prefer the female voice, but George aside, the men are all unappealing this year I feel...
LaToya was let down by a horrible overfast backing track...
Leah sang a song that is a kiss of death in terms of reality TV (ask Vanessa Olivarez, Aimee Kearsley, Nicola Thomas) and it didn't help that she forgot the words... She should NOT have been selected as a wildcard IMO, when there were better people (Susie Vulaca, Elizabeth LeTendre) in the running...
Camile HAS to be the favourite to go next week, she looked awkward on stage and her voice is not the best, I was stunned she wasn't bottom three while Amy and PARTICULARLY Jennifer were...
It really is good to see that it WON'T just be the Fantasia and LaToya show though cause any of that top 6 from last night have staked a claim on it in my opinion.
And what did they do to John's hair, did they dye it to make it look more red? He divided opinion here, Mike liked him, but he bored me to tears.

Jasmine - brilliant this week Diana - i prefered her last one. would like to see her doing a ballad. still my fave Fantasia - very good indeed. still don't think she will win though Jennifer - poor song choice but great vocals, should not have been bottom 3 Latoya - seemed a bit of a mess to me. good though George - his best so far John S - i liked it. but he needs to show his voice off more Camile - very shaky. still like her though Amy - those high notes are way too quiet. very average Jon P-L - best of his so far. but i often find him inaudible Leah - much better 2nd time round. deserved to go really. Matt - cheesy and just awful. that crying in the mansion
