My top 11:
1. (5) Latoya London 2. (7) Amy Adams 3. (2) Diana Degarmo 4. (3) Fantasia Barrino 5. (4) Jennifer Hudson 6. (6) George Huff 7. (1) Jasmine Trias 8. (11) Camile Velasco 9. (8) Matt Rodgers 10. (9) John Stevens 11. (10) Jon Peter Lewis
Genre suitability, particularly for Amy worked wonders this week, and I thought Camile was much improved. Matt went I think because he showed no real emotional commitment to the song, every time I've seen that song performed on an Idol show it's been far better!

The others were good, I just wasn't very impressed with the country songs - I liked Desperado, but I'm not keen on Camile Velasco's vocals. BTW, didn't someone sing Desperado on UK Pop Idol? I'm sure Pete Waterman or someone said it was a case of a girl singing a man's song. Katy Pullinger, Heat 5, failed to make top 5, Simon said he'd give her a job on a cruise ship!

I'm glad Matt went, now if only John Stevens & JPL follow... But that would take a miracle, as the public allegedly have fallen for them I liked the country theme, I thought they all picked good songs except John & LaToya, her vocal was fab though. My rankings : 1 Amy Adams 2 Fantasia Barrino 3 Latoya London 4 Diana Degarmo 5.Jennifer Hudson 6 Jasmine Trias 7 Camile Velasco 8 George Huff 9 Matt Rodgers 10 John Stevens 11 Jon Peter Lewis

This week is MOTOWN week, now pardon my confusion but didn't a number of them do Motown just two weeks ago in Soul week?
They'd better have Disco SOON!

Yeah. George Huff in particular has ONLY done Soul, his version of "I Can Love You Like That" was 100% All 4 One, not John Michael Montgomery.

Hit & Miss for me tonight as usual
George, Jasmine, Diana & Amy were good
John Peter, John and Camille in the bottom 3 with John to go
not long till we know now

OK, my rankings:
1. George Huff 1. Fantasia Barrino 3. Jasmine Trias 4. Jennifer Hudson 5. LaToya London 6. Diana Degarmo 7. Amy Adams 8. Camile Velasco 9. Jon Peter Lewis 10. John Stevens
SCANDAL that Amy's gone, the 3 below her for me were FAR worse, and John Stevens was the worst by some considerable distance... And I didn't see George as a potential winner before tonight, but now I do. Camile is improving, but not quickly enough...
In the end it seems it's better to be awful than to merely be OK

I know, poor Amy she was never gonna win but she was better than a good few who are left. I agree David, George could win but it all depends what the themes are gonna be. If they spin him a curve ball and he has a bad week he could be gone.

John Stevens was f***ing AWFUL tonight...and, again, in the group performance he was DIRE, looking totally stiff and awkward and out of place. Who the HELL is voting for him? Do they REALLY see him as an American Idol?

I dunno you know, I know George has been lucky with the themes thus far, and I think people vote for the likeable personality, and/or the underdog, and since George was already cut once, it might work in his favour...
Either way, he was bloody good tonight!

it's not on til tonight here, but since the spoilers on Moopy I've known it was Amy who goes. SUCH a shame, especially as she was fabulous last week.
