I know that you won't get to see this until Friday but I got to see part one of it last night. The 2nd part is on tonight for us here.
I am not going to give away anything about what I saw last night. I want you all to be surprised at what you are going to see.
I am hoping that there are many of you out there that will be tuning in on Friday.
Since we in the states get to see it before you I will promise you that I will not give away anything. I want us all to just be able to talk about it here and be able to give our predictions on who is going to be the next American Idol. Enjoy the show.

I watched round 2 last night. I have to say that some people really have guts to show up. Can't wait to see what you think about some of the people. It's really killing me not to be able to talk about it yet but I will just keep my mouth

I'm away this weekend -so I'll try to catch up on the Sunday evening repeats. Why do I find these programmes so addictive

I saw about 10 minutes at the end of the show in St Louis. A country type singer got through. Also showed Dirk and some other chap who thought they'd get to the final. I love to watch Simon laugh at people.

I enjoyed watching their facial expressions.
I saw that poor Dirk and his friend that he made there. I kind of felt sorry for them but it was funny at the same time.

Oh yes he is. I like him he really says it like it is. He seems to be a bit funnier this time around. Well so far anyway.

I kind of felt sorry for them but it was funny at the same time. even though he couldn't remember what his name was i saw both eps, love this show and i've seen enough talent to know i'll have someone to support in the later stages but i don't know how i'll be able to watch the future eps

I didn't realise this had started.
The beginning bits are usually so much better than the knockout rounds later on.

Your so right Dandy the beginning is so much better. I can't believe that some of those people really think that they can sing. I laughed so hard watching it last week. I am so looking forward to tomorrow night when it is on here. Thor can't you tape the show? That is what I do and then I watch it in the morning.

It is incredible that some people think they can sing - but then are they preselected to go to the auditions ? Don't they realise that the show depends upon the no-hopers in the early stages

Ok I watched Tuesday and Wednesday night.
It just amazes me at how many people think that they sound good. Come on are they death. Can't they hear themselves.
There were a few that were picked that were really good.

cool let us know Thor what you think. ok these people stood out for me.. David from New Orleans, not sure what he was singing. he was the one Randy said was the best he'd ever heard. I was very impressed Lindsay Cardinale. Loved her voice it was gorgeous. and she's got great presence. wonderful Mikelah. sang Lullaby Birdland i think its called. Pitch perfect was right. that could have been a record playing. the themes might not help her though Amanda the showgirl singing 'I Wanna Love You Forever', loved it! i wish they didn't cut off before the high bits really kicked in Emily the one that started off singing Cyndi Lauper interested me Sharon the cocktail waitress that did 'Saving All My Love..' was very impressive. i prefer the others though Jennifer the overweight woman that did 'If I Aint Got U' was very impressive. expecially in the last half. not sure if they're using her as a token fat woman though. Mario Vasquez, right at the end. loved his voice, it was so very interesting and soulful i'm not sure what they're on about with it being level male/female. i think this is rubbish ;D although the men involved already seem better than last year Carrie Underwood was the one that impressed me most from the previous week
