When was he last on a Now album? As far as I know, he has never been on the main series. But 'Thriller' was featured on 'Now 25 Years' in October 2008

Now is supposed to feature big hits, if he has a big hit, it should be on it, plus if you look at it cynically, they'll stick one on, because it might get them a few extra sales...

I bet there'll be a licensing issue though. Sony may not allow MITM as that would harm sales of the track then!

Farewell My Summer Love is the only Michael Jackson single to appear in the main series.
It was on Now That's What I Call Music 4.

They did put Dusty Springfield on Now 42 as a tribute when she died, and for the same reason Jacko does deserve to be added to the latest version, but as already said in the thread he has never been on the regular now albums before, same for Madonna so it is unlikely that it will be added now. I believe Now doesn't have the rights to songs on certain record labels or something.

Will appeal to my 7 year-old niece. Not much for anyone over 13 though.

Actually I don't understand why compilations are still needed. The songs I like I already own thanks to download stores and the rest of the tracks I don't like at all.

^ It's easy to forget that a lot of people in this country won't be that up to date with their technology.

And 40-odd tracks for £12.99 in most supermarkets beats individual download prices by a long chalk.

When was he last on a Now album? As far as I know, he has never been on the main series. But 'Thriller' was featured on 'Now 25 Years' in October 2008 "One Day In Your Life" was on "Now - Smash Hits Of The 80s" way back in 1987. Apart from the recent appearance of "Thriller" on the 25th anniversary edition, it's only this and the aforementioned "Farewell..." - both Motown tracks - that have ever appeared on "Now" albums. Even the Sony (CBS) "The Hits Album" series ever managed to get one MJ track on their compilations - "Thriller" way back on "The Hits Album 1."
