Nope! Lots of artists do it (ie Beyonce). They promote the single but release the album before so people pick my the album as the singles isn't released.

I don't know. But it seems that they do have a strategy at least.
Personally I would have never believed that any of her songs would crack the Billboard Dance Charts TOP 15, so that's a great success anyway. And I know she'll get a LOT of media attention whether she cracks the Billboard charts or not and I've always been a huge LaToya fan, no matter how successful she was.
I am looking forward to the Hawaii video today, which will be posted in the Special Friends Section.

I think it's normal in America, they have radio singles mostly. A commercial Maxi single usually just has remixes and edits of those mixes.
