www.jacksonfamily-database.de/Latoya/latoyacharts.htmFascinating... the last time she had a single that charted, well, ANYWHERE, was in 1988 with "You're Gonna Get Rocked" that heated up the R&B Billboard chart at #26. Her last charting album was in 1984 with "Heart Don't Lie" which made a top 150 entry at #149.

Sex Box made #90 something in some European countries. I'm going to try and find some Toy Toy chart positions. I know that You're Gonna Get Rocked fell short of the Billboard Hot 100 by about 1 place.

All I could find out was that
(Ain't Nobody Loves You) Like I Do was a minor chart hit in France. It did okay in the club chart too apparently.
The only other info I could find was that she released two singles in Switzerland; If You Feel The Funk (1980), and Why Don't You Want My Love Anymore (1991). Neither made the top 50. I reckon she must've released more stuff their so I reckon they charted 51-100 there.

I'm still stunned by the fact that Queen Toy Toy may have had a #1 single! Isn't there any way to find this out?

"If You Feel The Funk" peaked at #42 in 1981 in Germany. That's actually pretty good considering...

Add Just Wanna Dance, i think this could make the BB100 as well as being very, very gay/club friendly. If she releases a cd single (with B Sides/Remixes?enhanced Vid) that could sell quite a bit as well.

I just got a message from Turning Into Betty at Say Hey. "...I have the official Dutch chart positions-book here, and LaToya charted 2 times in our official Top 40: If you feel the funk went to number 18 in 1980, and Sex Box to number 25 in 1991. You're gonna get rocked and Oops, oh no were "tips for the chart", but didnt end up charting" How fabulous! Sex Box was a hit!!!!

Anyone know anything about her UK releases?
I know that she's never entered the top 40, but surely ONE single should've been able to enter the top 75?

No, I have a book of all the top 75's and she hasn't had any. There is a top 100 although it would be difficult to find i'm sure somone might know. We'd need to know release dates though I know Oops Oh No was released here, but no singles from La Toya or anything after.

LaToya needs to focus on the UK market. I think "Just Wanna Dance" could do well here for it's novelty value, but I can't see it doing well in the US hot 100 at all. Imagine seeing LaToya on Top Of The Pops. ;D

I reckon Toy should whore herself 'round the UK talkshow circuit This Morning, Jonathon Ross, BBC news, Richard & Judy, even Loose Women! Maybe even Tonight with Trevor McDonald and Panorama!!! Anywhere to get exposure. And only agree to talk about Michael if they play her video or let her perform! They'd all submit to the will of Toy!!!!! She could easily get TOTP2 and possibly TOTP Saturday and Popworld. if she wants a hit, it's here for her... The Northern club scene is enough to get you a top 10 too! Maybe she could do G-A-Y too. I'm sure she could dig out the leathers and that motorbike. She could be a trash icon here any day of the week!

At least that Graham Norton Christmas special was a positive sign.

She has had TWO singles hit the top 100 in UK! 06/10/1984 LaToya Jackson Hot Potato 92 92->1 01/10/1988 LaToya Jackson You're Gonna Get Rocked 90 90->1 www.polyhex.com/music/chartruns.phpOn something that's not vaguely Toy Toy related, Traci Lords has actually had a top 75 hit with "Fallen Angel" which charted at #72.
