I've just started listening to it. The beginning of her cover of "Stop In The Name of Love" (Remix) sounds really sensual.

This is what's written inside the booklet, and no, *I* didn't spell "lips" wrong:
"Often in the tabloid, and never off the lipps of leaders of the media. Jay Leno is always talking about her on his NBC 'Tonight' show (available on satellite). For example La Toya Jackson has probably the hardest job in showbusiness. How can you possible shine, when you are standing in the shadows of Michael, Janet and the Jacksons themselves? La Toya, often said to be the rebellious member of the family, has made her own impact and ensured her place as a top flight singer. First stepping into the limelight here in 1980 when she recorded her first european single "Hot Potato" - a club hit in the states, a good three years before Janet made her own initial recordings. La Toya toured during the 80's and has recorded some fine soul and dance tracks through the period. La Toya was born in Gary Indiana, the fifth of the nine Jackson children, and grew up intending to be either a nurse or a nun. Her father Jo encouraged her to perform with the Jacksons in their "Revue". She learned to tapdance and used to open the show with his routine. La Toya recorded her first solo album in the USA in 1979, titled "La Toya Jackson". Followed by "My Special Love" in 1980. She also appeared on the Jackon's "Triumph" album and dueted with Michael on "P.Y.T.", which was a multimillion selling chart topper in 1984. La Toya later hit the headlines again when she appeared nude in Playboy magazine, starred in the movie "Cry For The City", and appeared in the video for the Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney duet "Say Say Say", and at the end of the decade she moved briefly to London, where she recorded with Damon Rochefort from the group Nomad (best known for their 1991 hit "I Wanna Give You Devotion"). La Toya Jackson has her own line of cometics "Mahogogmy Image", and most recently recorded what have to be amongst the best re-recordings of the classic songs from the Motown Era with musicians around the world. With an exclusive signing for this album to Denmark's top entertainment company CMC, this release has surprised many who were only too happy to keep La Toya in the shadows. Her version of the Supreme classic "Stop In The Name Of Love", "Baby Love" and "Someday We'll Be Together" are the best 90's recordings of these songs by one artist since the Supremes. Especially the dance remix of the title track, which is a "floor-filler" in the discotheques around the world. La Toya interprents the classics with a fresh new life for the 90's, which sits comfortably with the other Jackson family CD's in my collection, and I know, you too will enjoy. - Kevin James"

I like the whole 'Satan's bride was made over by a drag queen' look she's going for on the cover. And those inner liner notes are, well, creative to say the lest.

Sorry to bump this, but does anyone have any info on the movie mentioned in the line notes? I didn't know she was in one!

Either it's made up or an über-rare release since not even IMDB has anything about it!
