Nice subtle New Order influences, or should I say a blatant attempt at recreating "Blue Monday".

i love it, theres just something about his voice. i was never the biggest editors fan, munich was good but it wasnt until their last album that i enjoyed their music and well obviosly this is a yeah yeah yeah's type departure from the norm. if only more bands sounded more like new order, i don't think that is a bad thing and it is very well done

Well, Munich was a killer single, the debut album was a good one, too. The follow up An End Has A Start was very disappointing for me, but this single makes hope for a better attempt this time.

An End Has A Start was an amazing album, and better than The Back Room IMO!
I've only heard Papillon once, but i'm liking it already

Just prefer their style on the second album. I agree that more people herald the first album but also i've not really heard anyone call the "An End Has A Start" album disappointing before.

i also prefer "An End Has A Start" because they seemed to find their own sound and although "The Back Room" had some good songs "blood", "all sparks" and "Bullets" but apart from "Munich" i always fealt their songs were missing something, it was guitar on guitar on guitar...they were all a bit samey and lacked depth but with "An End Has A Start" i enjoyed the subtle addition of piano, better vocals and just an overall improved style as robin says

Papillon has really grown on me, which I'm glad about as I have really liked both the albums so far (The Back Room more than An End Has A Start). I tend to listen to his voice more than anything - it's always been serious but soothing in an Interpol/Depeche Mode sort of way (for me).....

The more I listen to Papillon, the more I love it. I loved "The Back Room" & "An End Has A Start", and I'm really looking forward to the new one.

Hm, it's growing on me a bit. I still think it's very 'kid playing around with synths for the sake of it' though, and quite boring. In other news, I quite like the artwork:

This was played at the Waterfront last night, I think, sounded a little PSB's -ish but in general very 80's but was a big new hit in there. Great tune.

Good song and Tiesto's Mix is very good too! However much I like Tiesto, he has raped this song and left it bleeding.

I'm absolutely loving 'Papillon'! Album sounds good on first listen too, the singles didn't make me bother with the last album...
