You only gave me limited choices though. How do I vote for White Hot Christmas by the Jive Aces or Chrstmas Number One by the Black Arts?

You post it in the thread.
He's gone for the most popular, its very unlikely either of your choices would be in the running

I went for Wham, but Darlene Love would be such a close 2nd,with J-Mac 3rd.

It has to be Slade - that song just is Christmas in the UK. I'm sick of 'Fairytale of New York' - its like the trendy Christmas song it's "OK to like". Feck that.,

Pogues though might have went for Warm This Winter had it been there.

I do like the Pogues song, but I do get the feeling people say it's their fave because they know other people will think 'that person must be cool, they like The Pogues.' There are dozens more great festive tracks, but it just seems everyone jumps on The Pogues bandwagon, a safety in numbers sort of thing. I don't mind sticking my neck out and saying I actually prefer The Smurf's 'Your Christmas Wish'.

I love the tune, and the clever lyrics but I'd prefer the Pogues song if the Pogues weren't on it.I love the voice of Kirsty McCall, but not Shane McGowan.

Maybe if you'd have given us more options, we'd have seen a greater choice of answers, I like lots of Christmas songs, Warm this winter, It's beginning to feel... Andy Williams, Waitresses, Chris Rea and more, but as you gave me only one option, then it is the Pogues!

I don't even think the Darlene Love song listed is the best Darlene Love Christmas song...
To my knowledge the best-ever Christmas song has only ever been performed once. Lord Vas was there (and gatecrashed the backstage party) :

I meant the option to choose more than one song, ie 5 songs.
