Coldplay to release new song 'Christmas Lights' next week (December 1)NME News November 24, 2010[/b] www.nme.com/news/test/53988The song will be available from iTunes at 8pm (GMT) Coldplay have announced that they are releasing a new song next week (December 1). 'Christmas Lights' will be available on iTunes from 8pm (GMT) on December 1. The group explained on their official website - Coldplay.com www.coldplay.com/ that the song will be "in the key of G", before adding that they hoped fans "have a great Christmas and holidays". Earlier this week, Coldplay confirmed they will appear at two festivals next summer, including Rock Am Ring. Meanwhile, Chris Martin and co will also play two shows in the UK next month in aid of homelessness charity Crisis. Are any of you pleased that Coldplay are releasing an Xmas single or not?

Good that we get new music from them All this movement is encouraging that we'll get a new album soon! Plus I could do with a coldplay song in my christmas playlist

Not pleased with how obsessed the band are with iTunes. There are other download sites... I bought it from the US iTunes as it happens as I have an account there.

I may download this as it has really grown on me, be interesting to see if it comes back again next year...4 solid weeks in the Top 20 this year so far.
