Not sure what to expect this time. Last year it was obvious that Owl City and Iyaz would be.
I think this song will be HUGE though!

I sort of meant the first new ones Like Lady GaGa was #1 the first week, but Iyaz and Owl City were the first 2011 number ones since GaGa was a 2009 and Matt will be a 2010 #1

Rihanna/Drake will probably be the first #1 of 2011, with the iTunes gift card push, she is so close on the iTunes chart.
Bruno Mars will probably be the next #1 with Grenade, if Rihanna stalls at #2. Week after probably Adele.
Bruno Mars
Adele

sadly, I don't see the new Adele as #1 material... but agree on Grenade
I think the new Kesha (We R Who We R) could also be a contender for #1

Rihanna, Bruno and Ke$ha are all in with a strong chance I think! But I agree that Adele will struggle to get it. I think she's more of an albums act.

oh and the new JLS if it's re-recorded with Tinie Tempah, unlike the album version, then they have a big chance too

I think the new Kesha (We R Who We R) could also be a contender for #1 I do hope not - Seen the video and its an awful song.

Love that Adele song would love it to be #1. Bruno Mars I also think is a likely contender.

And there's Taio Cruz and Kylie Minogue... wouldn't it be great if she could have a number one in another decade!

Having checked with Manicks release schedule and listened to Dec 27th releases on youtube, which are below:
27th Dec
Diane Birch – Fools Martin Solveig feat Dragonette - Hello Ne-Yo - Cause I Said So
Cee Lo Green - It’s OK [27/12] Eliza Doolittle – Skinny Genes [27/12] Paul Carrack – It Ain't Over [27/12] The Pretty Reckless - Just Tonight [27/12] Tinie Tempah feat Kelly Rowland – Invincible [27/12] The Wanted – Lose My Mind [27/12]
I quite like Cee lo's, Tinie Tempah and The Wanted.
I would love the Pretty Reckless to get number one but cant see it.
So I reckon Tinie with Kelly rowland or Cee lo to get a number 1.
Unless there is something else out thats not listed.

I think Tinie and Cee-Lo will both be pushed for top 10. They're on iTunes already. I think Rihanna might get it over those two.

Im not sure if it is released yet, if not, then Taio Cruz ft Travie McCoy - Higher is one to watch.
A tunetastic tune.

It's being released with Kylie Minogue instead of Travie in the UK I think.

None of those are going to trouble the chart first week, its the week after, most of those new tracks will be a minor hit or a miss. The top 40 singles charts next week will be a mess with old tracks going back up the chart with the iTunes gift card.

From that list, get The Pretty Wreckless to #1?

I think Bruno is garunteed for #1! I also think that Adele's definitely in with a shot, since MYFML's new wave of success will have earned her a lot of new fans.
I also think the new Enrique song (Tonight I'm F***ing You) will be huge in the clubs, so could do well.
