I have to say, well done to Berwick in putting up a good game against Celtic today.
Although they got beat 2-0, they did brilliantly and were not embarrassed today.

Glad to hear you say that Murray as Berwick are my Scottish team, and I'm glad we weren't thrashed. Crowd of nearly 4000 and some Sky TV money will hopefully help us streghten our threadbare squad to push on for a playoff spot this season after being next to bottom last season!

We picked him up from Gretna I think, Gribben is the one that has been banging the goals in for us, and long may it continue, just need to start winning as we went through a phase of drawing too many games.

If Berwick played like that today Andy, then they are sure to climb the league.
Their fitness needs upped a bit as they tired in the last 15 mins.

I know that, which is why I started supporting them in 1977, but they do play in the Scottish league. Just seen the highlights and it looked like a pen to me when our centre forward got clattered by one defender while the other cleared the ball. Lovely finish by Gribben as well, just a shame he was half a mile offside  |

Yeah they should have had a penalty in the opening minutes Andy.
It may have changed the game if given.

Interesting draw today! And was that two of Biffy Clyro conducting the draw? It was Frag. A lot of clubs in Scotland are happy that the Old firm got drawn together. It will give them a better chance of getting to the final. Although the way celtic is playing tonight, they should have no fears. |
