Not in the title, but in the lyrics. A French song, recorded by Piaf, and when translated into English it became a US hit for her backing vocalists Les Compagnons De La Chanson. When the original French was translated into English the translator Bert Reisfeld turned the hero's name from Jean Nicot to Jimmy Brown. Which was hugely serendipitous when, 11 years later, a real-life Jimmy Brown recorded it - and took it to the top of the Billboard 100...and, perhaps uniquely for a country record, reached the top ten on the R&B charts. 52 years on, Jim Ed Brown is still performing at the Grand Ole Opry.
