Westlife are past their peak and have already had a hits collection out so my money would be on One Direction

I'm sure One Direction will have a similar opening week to JLS' first album, over 200k.

The tracklisting for Westlife's GH album is just fine in my opinion. It is called Greatest Hits (it is not a Vol. 2) so of course they will release the best/most sucessfull songs on a standard edition, everybody does that. But hey, that's why they did decide on the Deluxe edition. So, they did in fact put every single on it except Tonight.
As much as I love Westlife, I am almost certain they will lose against the 1D because I do think they are unbeatable right now for ANY artist- they could release the worst songs in the world and they would still be No.1 thanks to the X Factor effect
But wait, has it been officialy confirmed that One Directiomn will release album in same date?

There last studio album "Gravity" debuted at #3 and plummeted to #11 the following week. It spent just a paltry 6 weeks on the UK Top 40; and according to "the ever reliable" Wikipedia failed to even go Platinum in the UK.
I was also taking into account that Syco have dumped them, so an X-Factor promo performance could be in serious doubt; and this being a 2nd Greatest Hits album with just 4 new tracks, then I think it's going to struggle to make the Top 10.
However, as I've just researched Louis Walsh is still their manager (I was under the impression both parties had split), so they still might get some X-Factor promo.
In which case I'll predict it will enter at #7, not #11.

If 1D don't release the album at the same day, I think Rihanna and maybe JLS could be no. 1 even though JLS releases the album week before.
I highly doubt that Westlife will be lower than Top 5 in album chart. Even though the single Safe only got to no. 10, the Gravity album still managed to get on no. 3.
I think that this Greatest Hits album could have great sales. I mean, even though their first GH was released in 2002, the album still manages to creep to Album chart during winter holidays every year. Granted, it is not very high up, but... people do still tend to by their GH - in 2008, 191,000 copies sold within the year.
And just to let you know, Gary Barlow said the other day that Westlife will perform on the X Factor. Barlow himself wrote the song so of course that helps a lot.

Tell that to Steps Westlife have not reformed after a decade's acrimonious split, with an unintentionally hilarious (H must be the most deluded man in Pop (yes even more than David Van Day), and Lisa is the most desperate wannabe in Pop) must watch reality TV show watched by more people in the UK than X-Factor USA. Bring on the S Club 7 reunion....

Barlow+Westlife can only be very bad or very very very very bad having a Gary-penned song (reject) seems like the kiss of death lately... but kinda guarantees a performance on XF despite them leaving Syco... anyway didn't realise there was so much competition on that particular day with Rihanna and Kate Bush also releasing new albums... I think Westlife will be lucky to be top 5... but I think top 10 for sure... and definitely higher than Saturdays... I'd rather predict them at #77 than at #7

I'd expect Westlife to go Top 3 at best, No.1 possible but other competition could prevent that.

The Saturdays are literally performing career suicide by releasing in not only November, but in the exact same week as OneDirection and Rihanna.
I think Westlife will go Platinum, and have strong sales in the holiday period. I think Rihanna will probably edge it over OneDirection in terms of album sales, just because she's releasing so quickly off the back of the Loud era (which arguably, was even bigger in the UK than GGGB was).
