Not his best one, but definitely better than last year! It's great to finally hear Britney in it! She only just missed out in 2008 with Womanizer.
Not enough focus on Adele though considering how huge she's been this year.

Totally agree, 2009's was masterful and still sounds fantastic now! I even know all the words EDIT: Listened to this years again and still think it's not good, even worse than last years. All the "boom"s really grate on me.

To be fair he can only be as good as the songs he's got allow him to be. It's a very average and samey bunch this year, so many of them just merge into one so easily.

Not really, because so much merges into one it's too easy there's less opportunity to actually be creative with it and make something sound good and different. 2009 is generally seen as his peak because it was harder work, plenty of rock, rap, pop, MoR and dancey club songs.
This year well over half are just party songs that merge into one too easily, there's only Adele, Bruno, Foster The People and One Republic that have any great differentiation from the rest of the list.
