Anyone watched? It has been on my 'to watch' list since it started in Oct in the US... and the recent win at the Golden Globes has finally convinced me to watch and it is a truly excellent tv show!!!!!!!!!!! really good acting!!! not sure if the story will hold for a whole season though...

It's only just started here (Ireland). We've had 2 episodes.
The plot doesn't sound like something I'd usually go for, but I tuned in 'cause of who's in it. I've liked Claire Danes since MySoCalledLife, and had read lots of good things about Damian Lewis. The acting is superb ! Not surprised that Danes got a Golden Globe. I think Lewis was as deserving of an award as she is,if not moreso. Hard to believe that he lost out to Kelsey Grammer (not that I've seen 'Boss',but I'd be surprised if people view him as anything other than Frasier Crane).

sorry Martin, did check the last page but didn't see the other thread just watched epi 1 & 2, I'm downloading from the net & watching!!! Claire Danes is fantastic in the role!! I kinda hate Kesley Grammer, so I would have given the Golden Globe to anyone but him!!! like the guy that plays Dexter

Wow, the last episode just stepped up a gear, best episode of the entire series, with all the twists and turns. Anyone still following Homeland.

I've seen them all on a US streaming site.
All I'll say about the season finale of the best US TV serial drama since The Sopranos is you can tell it had been originally written as a one off series, but at the 11th hour Showtime had offered the production team, writers and many of the key actors a shed load of cash to do another series; and for me & a lot of fans of the show the S1 finale suffers accordingly as ends that were tied are suddenly loosened by unconvincing last episode plot/character developments.
