The band were on "Must Be The Music" in 2010 and did scrape into the top 40 when their songs were made available after the show, but you may well have forgotten about them.
It's quite rare now that a song stays on top of my chart for 5 weeks so here is "Dave".
Their album is called "Generation Silenced".

I'm afraid when I watched the show and they were a 3rd rate Oasis now they sound like The Fratellis/Madness they have improved I'll give them that but they were 2 late with their sound to be successful in 2010 and they have no chance now; in 2007 they could have been big, pop is all about timing unfortunately.

when they were on the show, M.I.E had already been a hit in my chart. I was hopeful about the show because there needs to be some means by which these artists can get a spot on TV and with the presenters of the show it was likely to attract viewers.
Do any bands have any chance to be big now in the charts? Still they can sell some albums and play live and maybe festivals. In the USA, there are many bands who are able to keep going forever without ever breaking into the main commercial charts and I think the UK industry might go the same way.

I remember seeing these on the show. They always reminded me of Hard-Fi/The Ordinary Boys, tho that maybe mostly because of the accent.

Sounds like a Madness song with the chorus more Hard-Fi. Its not a bad song and as someone else said they may have had a chance of getting big about 10 years ago, but no chance.

The new single is really good, quite Kaiser Chiefs, cant remember what it's called though, deserves to be a hit.

Their last single was called Money
Is that the one you mean or is there a new new one?
