This deserves a thread of its own, the biggest summer blockbuster movie of the year, already booked my seat for the premiere on the 20 July, the movie itself is nearly 3 hours long, its the last of the Batman movies with Christian Bale. Chris Nolan has really pushed all boundaries, no other director can top it. Its got a great cast.
Most likely will get a reboot at some point a la Spiderman.

Been looking forward to this for a while, but it can't possible live up to the expectation! Wouldn't people who think like that have quite low expectations? They may be surprised after all The trailer looks brilliant though.

I guess they would. I have high expectations but also fear it will struggle to match them. I'm going to a stupid o' clock early showing.

Well I hope you enjoy it because I did, probably one of the best movies of the year along with the Avengers Assemble. Now roll on October Bond, James Bond is back in Skyfall and the Hobbit Part 1 in December

A little disappointed in this.. Weakest of the three, however the ending was decent!
The biggest problem was Bane, hard to understand with that awful voice over, and the character himself just felt weak.. His scenes fighting Batman also felt weak..
Surprised that I didnt hate Anne Hathaway though! Generally I can't stand her in movies, but she was actually good i this, still no Michelle Pfeifer tho!
Not even gonna mention how they ruined Marion Cotilar's character.. And for some reason, in her final scenes it was as if she just turned off and couldn't be bothered trying to act..
The cinemtography was excellent though, some really beautiful direction, some good action, decent story with a satisfying ending.. Tho they easily could have cut at least 30 mins from the run time!
I'd give it a 6.5/10

Really enjoyed it, though as I'd feared, it didn't quite meet my high expectations. Still a great film though. I gave it a high 9/10.

I thought it was fabulous - it would have been very difficult to live up to my expectations.
