What is the point of boot camp, if you sing sh*t, but get through because you were amazing in the auditions, ie Spraggan and the short arse in the shiny suit? Some people must be peeved to sing better than them, and be rejected, just makes the whole thing a joke. Just put through your 50 without this charade.

I don't know why Hayley never released anything after Pop Idol. All of the others who finished top 6 did. She had her chance then to make a career and didn't seem to bother.

Not only why do they have boot camp, but why did they do that stupid dancing training a few series ago, when they were told they were going to perform for the judges, only to be later told nobody is going home!. What made it more pointless, is that it was never used for any other part of the series from there, the contestants did not have to dance ever again.

I also hate the quote "We have to put them out of their comfort zone" ie get a big voice singer to do disco, etc but when they win, they dont ever venture out of their comfort zone, so it is pointless.

feel sorry for the homeless guy I didn't he came across as arrogant to me, he wouldn't last long in the live finals if he made it thru, no sad loss there.

Maybe she couldn't get a deal You mean nobody "signed her up" and wrote songs for her and managed her career? Why didn't she try writing her own or finding her own songwriters? I actually liked her in pop-idol but she had the opportunity to make a career for herself at the time and didn't. She comes across therefore as the typical reality-TV artist who wants everything done for her. At least Rosie Ribbons and Zoe Birkett tried.

She released one independently in 2011. In 2002 though she wanted fame more than a musical career and went down the "on stage" career playing Sandy in Grease as well as presenting Popstars the Rivalsl Extra
I am pretty certain that had she had some material to release in 2002, with the interest in her, had it been any good she'd have found someone to release it.

I am convinced that rancid bint with the self released shitefest is a plant by the megamanboobed meglomaniac and is supposed to win.
Most of the auditions in "boot camp" were terrible and they should have kicked most of them out - but then they'd have no show if they got rid of the one trick ponies that make up the bulk of the contestants.

Nicole looks constipated and comes across as a snide b****. They need to get Mel B back as a permanent judge and let her go to town on those arsewipes that think they can sell a sob story and become the next Rihanna despite having no talent... the US series just started. Britney = amazing!!!!!! the sob stories... not so much... Britney is a legend!

Out of all the acts gone through the Overs is the best category, but some of those overs shouldn't be in there. I only like Kye Scones and Carolynne Poole. And that Lady Gaga lookalike, ain't that Kitty all over again from last year. Hayley Evets should have been in there instead of Brad Shackleton.
Ella Henderson seems to be this year's Janet Devlin and Diana Vickers, I can't see her winning it, I think Lucy will be the last girl standing. Rest of the girls seem a bit thin on the ground, bar Jade Lewis.
Boys category, there is only 1 boy that really sticks out James Arthur the rest seem a lost cause, worst category this year. That Rylan Clarke seems so up himself, really surprised he was put through.
The groups, Poisonous Twins seem to be the new Jedward, I think Louis will put them through to the final as entertainment value. The only 3 groups I really like are MK1, Rough Copy and MITOUSKI, I think can't really spell it, DMB3 they seem to be the new Busted/McFly without instruments.

Maybe she did write her own stuff but she would still have to get a company to give her a contract to release it I seem to remember her adding vocals to a dance track in 2002. I think the song may have been called 'More'. Edit: Just seen EP's post above, it seems my memory was spot on!

Found him rather boring. Just another Ed Sheeran wannabe. Ella was okay, and Carolynne. As for Lucy Spraggan, i don't mind her own material but she is a one-trick pony. How she's going to get on in Big Band Week? Disco week? etc.

It will be interesting to see how Lucy gets on with different styles indeed, I can see a joke act getting through just to put up the ratings, first it started with John and Edward, then Wagner only to keep on from there.
As much as I love Lucy, when she don't do her own songs and sings different styles, she looks out of it while also looking uncomfortable. "Moves Like Jagger" at boot camp for a start.
