Since there wasn't a thread about it, the show kicks off tomorrow from 8 to 9:15pm, here we go again, with the usual suspects as Judges with the addition of Nicole.

Will watch if I'm not out. Auditions have become the most boring part of the show for the last few years though.

I am not overly fussed with the audition stages, but will stream online anyway.

Some of the auditions should have some professional singers, as they are allowed to compete now. Should be interesting to see how they fare. Caroline Poole is taking part again, I wonder how far she will get this time.

As ever, I'll avoid until it gets to the judges houses phase.
For those of you who will watch this tonight, the opening episode of The Voice had 41 mins & 13 seconds of the auditionees singing in a 90 minute programme.
I won't mind betting that tonight's X-Factor will spend nowhere near 50% of its time on the auditionees singing.

There was not a single person I liked. Disappointing start.

There was only 1 performerI really liked, Ella, who bought the house down.
I'm waiting for Week 3 of the auditions, there is a 18 year old girl who brings the house down. That's if they filmed her audition piece.
And Mel B was totally out of order I'm glad they didn't pick her as the 4th judge.

After Mel B's antics I may just watch the Australian version of the show instead

Just watched it on catch up. Quite liked Ella and the guy in the grey suit that works for asdas. The nerd was ok too.
Liked Mel B's honesty

How bizarre that we'll have a contestant still currently in the process who has a hit single out there! I know Leona had old material knocking about, as did a few others, and Rowetta obviously had a career before X Factor too, but I don't think anyone's had anything commercially available which has taken off like Lucy!

Actually thought Eddy String & Lorna Bliss were the standouts. I know Lorna didn't get through but at least she entertained and didn't stand there like a demented puffafish singing a bland Adele song. Her putting Louis Walsh between her chest was the highlight of the night and seeing Gary running away desperately trying to avoid the same treatment. I'd rather be entertained than see another lame boyband and an N-Dubz tribute act! www.youtube.com/watch?v=bI2IcHj_614www.youtube.com/watch?v=0y6YtC3ds8Y

Tulisa going "no!, no!, no!" was priceless!!. I remember Lorna on BGT, they must have remembered her from it to say she just wants to be on television all the time.
Eddie String could be a really good rock band singer, just needs to be less cocky.
