Is anyone bothering to watch it this way? I'm beginning to think I should just give up on the damn programme but I know I'll carry on because the Rachel in New York half is pretty great. Shame the other half at the school is boring characters with personality transplants and nowhere-near-as-good carbon copies of original characters who I just don't care about plus Unique who is beyond irritating. Sam, Blaine and Brittany are pretty much the only saving graces there, although I'd like Marley if she wasn't such a sap. Probably no one's watching it but I needed a bit of a rant about how terrible it's getting!

I do watch, but same thing, not sure even why I bother... they really need to bring new interesting people I've only watched the first epi of the new season and the song choices were great, like doing Call Me Maybe... but of course having all these new people singing is not really that amazing... I agree that Unique is irritating to say the least but I kinda liked the new girl whose mother works at the kitchen... they moved it to Thu in the US, not sure how it's worked audience-wise...

I watch it at the US pace i don't see the point of waiting months to watch it on tv when i can see it online a few hours after its been on in the US. I agree the glee club seems really empty without the original characters but im still enjoying watching. I think we all miss the original characters being together but if they had all stayed in school this season the producers would of been accused of being unrealistic.

Oh and i feel sorry for Tina shes one of the few original characters in school and shes still sat in the background while the new people like Marley and Unique are getting more screen time. But it's only 2 Episodes in so im hoping shes comes into her own later on.

they moved it to Thu in the US, not sure how it's worked audience-wise... I believe that because it follows X Factor it is doing really quite well, although how well it's being received critically is a different matter. It's not that the characters are split up that's the problem - it's that it's mainly uninteresting characters left at McKinley. The big four, arguably, were Rachel, Kurt, Finn and Santana, and only two of those have even been in the programme in any real form so far. It's lacking in big names and it's showing. The songs aren't even great any more. A week of Britney is not the way to showcase your new talent...

How come Wade is now just Unique around school with no one hassling him. This is McKinley, where even the staff bully you. Will's angry speech on lip synching was hysterically bad.

Oops. I moaned and moaned and then a great episode came along with some good songs!
Possibly the episode was great because it had absolutely nothing to do with anyone from NuGlee, and SJP wasn't an annoying bint like I expected.

That was the only song I wasn't that keen on SJP had a nice voice though, if a bit weak. Reminded me of a not-so-good Quinn.

Really enjoyed this weeks episode. Any Ep where Sam strips is a good one in my books Really hope Rachel chucks Finn next week and goes for Brody, they're so much better together! Finn looked about 10 when he turned up at Rachel's door.

Wow, what an episode.
That was the Glee I fell in love with. If only that ridiculous Left Behind club hadn't been there, it would have been totally perfect.
I wish, just for once, Kurt could be the bad guy though. Throwing Blaine's character under the bus like that annoyed me, no real need for it. Also, I can't help but think Mr. Schue is going to go to Washington and Finn is going to take over Glee club for him? It seems like he's going to stay in Ohio and that whole "do Grease" thing seemed like foreshadowing of his good ideas for the club... I don't know. It would be interesting, and anything that gets rid of Will would be great - he's beyond pointless these days.

Oh, I forgot to even mention the songs - Teenage Dream was just incredible. In fact, all the songs were great, though I'd say Don't Speak was a bit weaker than the others and the split-screening did my head in.

Best episode in a long time they didn't have to break up every couple though!. Can't wait for the Grease episode.

I watched that episode yesterday whilst incredibly emotional and hung over. I can only call it divine intervention that I was too exhausted to commit suicide. The most depressing 40 minutes of television history! But quite brilliant nonetheless.

bit exaggerated that they had to break up ALL the couples!!! Agree Don't Speak was a bit meh... but really liked the Demi Lovato song and The Scientist at the end

A terrific emotional episode, but as others have said, stretching it that they all broke up in the same timeframe!

I gave up on Glee during the second Britney episode. But I don't feel inclined to catch back up. I did see their version of the Scientist. Suprisingly not terrible. It felt like an X Factor winner's song version of it. Now there's an idea...

I watched it too last week. I also thought that it was a sad Glee. To be honest the ones I felt bad about were Kurt and Blaine. For some reason there breakup was the saddest. @roo I think what you said about Mr. Shaue taking off to Washington and Finn taking over the Glee club. Never thought of that when I was watching it.

Nice to see Mike and Mercedes back. Alex Newell (Unique) seems to be getting more screen time and songs than any of the glee project winners put together and he was just the runner up.
