You´ve probably read about this in the press or on the internet... Fiona Apple has cancelled her last tour cos her dog is sick. In a 4-page letter she explains that she´s very attached to the old dog, who´s sick and cannot travel with her... and since the dog is like a "mother and a daughter" to her, she cannot leave the dog so she´s cancelling all tour commitments... so what do you reckon? is it justified? or just crazy? I´m fine with it and I kinda understand it, but at the same time, I see how many won´t...

i took a day off work when my parents' cat, which we'd had since i was 7, passed away a few years ago. admittedly for an artist who has tours etc. to worry about it's not easy to just take a day off. but i completely understand. my other cat is now very old and when she dies i will be devastated

Thats a bit steep. Cancelling a tour for a dog. I know dogs are like family, but to cancel a tour?
