Listening to some cities earlier have they they split not heard of them for years.whats everyone else think of them I like all 4 of there studio albums.

i couldn't stop listening to 'the last broadcast' when i was 14, but never got 'some cities' and haven't listened to them in ages. 'there goes the fear' and 'pounding' are ace though.

Absolutely love them. "There Goes The Fear" is brilliant - and from the first album the beautiful "Sea Song", and "The Man Who Told Everything".
They are still going, just on a break at the moment. The last album I bought from them was Kingdom Of Rust in 2009 which still has a lot of great songs on it such as the title track and "Winter Hill".

I think the problem I've always had with Doves is the vocals. They always sound so bored by their own music I struggle to disagree.

Vocals are not there strong point I agree with that but music is superb
