And now 185-9, what a tail ender, maybe he should open for them?

He has the highest score for a No 11 on his test debut. And he's only 19.

I have a feeling he won't be batting at 11 for the rest of the series... England starting to miss Broad's bowling.

Australia back in the game thanks to some dreadful bowling from Finn and third umpire Erasmus not understanding the rules of cricket.

This game is very much now in the balance. There have been so many ups and downs for both teams. Despite Agar's incredible heroics I still think England should win this!

Tomorrow will probably decide the test match. If England can bat through the day, they should win. If they don't, Australia *should* be able to reach whatever target they are set.

Had a long lunch to watch an hour of the Hughes/Agar partnership today, was absolutely superb stuff.

Spent today at Trent Bridge. Test cricket at its most captivating...
England bowling brilliantly to rip down to the last man England bowling atrociously for nearly 2 hours Ashton Agar - probably the most astonishing debut I've ever witnessed controversial umpiring decisions
and finally, two-and-a-half hours of traditional Test cricket, with Cook and Pieterson playing intelligently and calmly to put England back into a position from which we can win the match
Glorious

Pietersen and Cook both gone in quick succession after reaching 50. England have to rebuild again now with Bell and Bairstow. 133/4.

Just listened to the Duckworth Lewis Method playing during the lunch interval on TMS with Henry Blofeld rapping!

England's lead now over 200. Nice little partnership building between Bell and Broad. 266/6.

Broad edges to slip but isn't given out, doesn't walk and Australia out of reviews... Might seem familiar to a certain Michael Clarke...

Definitely no walking to be had. Didnt see the Aussies rushing after Jonathon Trott when they knew from the replays he had inside edged it or Ashton agar walking when the replays showed clearly he was out of his ground.

I didn't realise that the culture was now not to walk unless the finger goes up, seems a shame in a sport that was always full of sportsmanship, but too much at stake now I guess. I assume the umpire thought it hit his hip, else how did he miss it?

Its years since the majority of Aussies walked, so I don't blame Broad. I'd like to see a lead of 350 before the innings is over.
