Another great one from Haim, being used to promote the album.

i like it (if they've recorded a bad song i haven't heard it yet) but i think i preferred the original, more stripped back version - this sounds a little over-produced to me. also the intro sounds straight out of 'heartache tonight'.
very excited about the album!

Haim in "overproduction" and "sounding like Seventies rock group" shockers!

in fairness, they usually sound like an 80s rock group

I was thinking of Fleetwood Mac as a Seventies thing. Obviously, they were around in the Sixties too, but that's not the band Haim are trying to sound like. IIRC though, 'Heartbreak Tonight' is from 1979 so it's not far off either way.

Looks like a top 20 placing for them. I reckon number 16 come sunday.

ordered on-line so mine is still in the post; can't wait!
september has been a great month for debut albums - the 1975 and chvrches were both really good as well.

finally got the album yesterday! love it!
agree on 'go slow' - i'd heard a lot of the tracks before getting the album but i think my favourite of the ones i didn't already know is 'if i could change your mind'
