New series starts on Sunday 20th April on Channel 4. Based on the film of the same name from the 90s, with the series starring Martin Freeman, Billy Bob Thornton, Oliver Platt and Colin Hanks.
I'm struggling to recall much of the original film, but I read that none of the characters are in the TV series, so shouldn't be too much of an issue, looks like a completely fresh story.

Getting lots of trailers for this one for the last few weeks.
I never saw the movie so I would have no baggage going in to the TV series.
Interesting cast.

Brilliant television. With superbly understated performances, and some very dry one-liners as well as the dark humour. Highly recommended.

Missed the first episode, probably cannot access 4OD catch up from out of the UK I managed to miss it too. Kicking myself. The second episode is tomorrow night. I'm hoping they'll have a chance to catch up on the premiere before they air the second episode. Quite often they run repeats several times in the week so I might get lucky.

Caught up on this last night, I love watching programmes on catch up, no ads at all practically. Another excellent episode just gets better and better and so so funny, never laughed out loud so much, some excellent moments in there. Taking a dump while reading a book. ha ha

Favourite line from this weeks episode - "Highly irregular is the time i found a human foot in the toaster oven. This is just odd...." Got the potential to be one of the best characters ever! Loving this show, hilarious!

Why does every episode practically has to have a guy having a dump scene, that's 2 episodes out of 3 now... lol
Not as good as the first 2 episodes, but still enjoying the series.
