So what do we think of this then? www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/mediapacks/bbcmusicI'm quite excited by the idea of Reginald D Hunter’s Songs Of The South and by The Soundtrack Of The Twentieth Century, but the flagship thing looks like it is some kind of award ceremony that treads the exact same ground as several others and could well be quite boring.

Soundtrack of the 20th Century sounds very interesting. I don't think they even need a presenter for that; they could just do a Rock & Roll Years thing with music and musicians being the pictures and text.
An award ceremony hosted by Fearne Cotton is not going to be must-see tv.
