Surprised i'm not the only one going for this. Got to be honest not feeling it at the moment but earlier in the week I was dreaming of a win. So I'll stick with the middle option. Still don't see us scoring though!

Arsenal win in the end, not the best game, but it was entertaining to watch particularly in the second half in the first 90 mins, poor Reading going out with a clanger.

Arsenal win in the end, not the best game, but it was entertaining to watch particularly in the second half in the first 90 mins, poor Reading going out with a clanger. Yes, I also posted my prediction on Reading's forum, along similar lines to what I said in this thread but added, "0-0 and Arsenal winning it in extra-time" (also saying at the start I was probably barking mad). "As I said probably completely wrong, but I do expect it to be more competitive than most people do, so long as we don't concede early. My only concern is that Wembley or Arsenal haven't been good to Fed in the past".
In addition I said on the train that Sczecsny (sp?) starting the game actually gave me a bit of hope we might score as well.
Given that Federici is out of contract in the summer that may well be the last time I've seen him play for us (assuming any of our matches in the remainder of the season aren't televised). Sad if my lasting memory of that final game is that mistake as he was having a great game before that :(Recorded the game and definitely going to watch it back sometime this week, in normal time 2nd half at the time I assumed Arsenal had hit the bar rather than him save it (the sun was in my eyes and at that point I couldn't be bothered to put my hands over my eyes!). I've got no idea how it stayed out.
Should add that despite Arsenal getting lucky with the winner I think they probably just about deserved the win.

Aston Villa 8th final since 1957, wow, long wait to come along, I don't think they get pass Arsenal that easily to be honest, Liverpool didn't really play their best, they did have a disallowed goal at the end. And Silva was taken to hospital with a broken cheekbone apparently, ouch.
Arsenal will probably hold on to the FA Cup title.

Didn't realise Villa won - was watching the F1 before catching the highlights later - but that also means they are guaranteed European football next season now. I like Arsenal as a club but I hope Villa go on to win it as a small part of me thinks we could have won yesterday so it would rub it in a bit to see Arsenal do it again, plus it's less important for them having won it last season. Although if Arsenal do win I will still believe that we had the hardest draw possible in the semis, against a complete bogey team for us. I honestly felt like we had a chance against the other 3 teams in the semis.

UEFA are finally bringing in the long-talked about rule of not allowing cup runners-up to claim Europa League spots, so Villa will have to win the Cup to qualify for Europe. If Arsenal win, 7th in the Premier League will get the place. www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/news/newsid=2137611.html
