Well, if it is true I know where we'll be taking next year's holidays!

I don't think she is set to headline Glasto. It looks like she is in line for the Sunday afternoon "heritage slot" which is a different thing altogether. Of course, if she looks at Dolly Parton's album sales following her appearance, that might help to persuade her. Just don't let her try and take a penalty kick.

That would be a great selection but i wonder what her voice is like now.
Didnt she retire in 2000. I dont remember any new music since Not Over You Yet back in 1999.
She would be good, though i feel Cher could give her a run.

She didn't retire Mick.
She was on tour not that long ago.
I was tempted to go see her in San Antonio.
I don't know about any new recordings but like many artists of her vintage getting airplay for new material is a major issue.

Lots of four letter words circulating here. It has been confirmed that Lionel Richie will perform the Sunday teatime slot at Glastonbury next year. www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-30270368I suppose it was too good to be true that Diana would come. I wonder if the UK fans (the few of us who are left!) will ever see her here again?

I wonder if someone heard a reliable rumour/clue from inside the Glastonbury HQ, but got the wrong end of the stick/guessed incorrectly. After all it was pretty close to being correct:

Apparently she did play a private party in London for a financial spread-betting firm, maybe that had some connection to the rumours?
