The one you recmmended me by Blossoms I did add. Kathleen appears fairly old, I'm not sure what makes it a "single" now. Perhaps they have just started promoting it but Spotify is showing it as the single before Cocoon. It doesn't appear that I playlisted it, but I did chart Cocoon.

'Kathleen' is a reissue and is the new single because the band say it is really and radio are playing it. Top 5 for me twice also.

Yeah as far as I am aware they just released their album in America and played "Kathleen" on the David Letterman show like last week

what is and isn't a single is up for debate these days because there is no concrete release list, if it's not a major pop act it is almost impossible to find what is or isn't a new release! "Kathleen" is definitely being pushed though, considering it was originally released spring last year, it has popped up on radio the last few weeks, played live at the BBC Awards in December and on Letterman last week, it is on numerous user generated single release lists which is all good enough for me
