Channel 5 airs the last ever episode of CSI tonight - at the ungodly time of 10.20p.m. They really have made a mess of their American crime procedurals.
Hard to believe it's been going for 15 years. We've watched it to the bitter end - in its heyday it was incomparable - wouldn't have missed an episode.
It ends on a cliffhanger.
CBS' Les Moonves had promised that CSI would get a proper ending and for once they've shown the fans some respect and kept their word.
There is to be a two hour movie later in the year to tie up loose ends. William Petersen as Grissom and Marg Helgenberger as Ccatherine Willows will be appearing in it!
Channel 5 have already said they will show this soon after it is broadcast in September.
Lost a lot of interest in Eurovision over the last few years so it will be getting the go-by tonight and we'll be tuned in for CSI.

Hope I get a nice supper out of this.
Be sorry to see CSI go - I loved Marg Helgenberger in it.

I wonder if we get to see the new series CSI: Cyber, I guess they wanted to concentrate on the new series, than having 2 CSI's going at the same time.
It was sad to see the series end, I just wish they gave it a proper ending instead of waiting another 3 months for the conclusion. It also felt as if Nick Stokes was getting his own series with a new setting in Boston.
