love him. his music really helps me relax.
his version of a whiter shade of pale is lovely
and do you know where you're going to by diana ross.
i admit i wasn't that impressed with his movie album, but the rest of hhis stuff, it's actually good.
and this is coming from someone who used to hate instramental songs because i like listening because of the lyrics.
finding a whole new type of music has opened up to me

I remember him when he was around. Mostly because I also played piano. And I used to often play popular songs by ear, but obviously wasn't as good as him nor did I get any kind of fame although there were times I wanted to be in a band.

And I used to often play popular songs by ear, but obviously wasn't as good as him nor did I get any kind of fame although there were times I wanted to be in a band. i tried playing the piano too. got as far as playing twinkle twinkle, (even if you could call it that), sounded nothing like it- but that's what it was meant to be think i'd be a good violin player but not actually looked in to lessons yet. (planning too though).

He reminds me of grim 80s TV advertised albums aimed at grannies I'm afraid ,very talented man but dont think I was/am is target audience

I find the guy very boring for a piano player but obviosly he is very successful at what he does just like Bobby Crush was in the 70s on Opportunity Knocks. Liberace was the 60s equivelent. Mrs Mills the 50s equivelent.
