* Was #1 on the final week of 1962, and would climb to #14 of 1963 and #16 of 1962 with its combined total.
I Want To Hold Your Hand is still #1 on the first chart of 1964. When we do the chart of the year for next 1964 we'll see where it finishes in both years. "Glad All Over" is #7 on the first chart of 1964 (falling from #4) while 24 Hours From Tulsa, which peaked at #2, has fallen from #19 to #26. As predicted "Don't Talk To Him" did drop out, however "Swinging On A Star" managed to remain in the top 30 for one more week, at #30.
Note that I said previously that "Dance On!" would be #25 of 1963. That places it one position above "Foot Tapper".

15 more:
25 Then He Kissed Me - Crystals 24 I Like It - Gerry & The Pacemakers 23 Rhythm Of The Rain - Cascades 22 Da Doo Ron Ron - Crystals 21 Wipe Out - Surfaris 20 Foolish Little Girl - Shirelles *19 Up On The Roof - Drifters 18 Bad To Me - Billy J Kramer & The Dakotas 17 Hello Mudduh Hello Fadduh - Allan Sherman 16 A Walkin' Miracle - Essex 15 Memphis Tennessee - Chuck Berry **14 I Only Want To Be With You - Dusty Springfield 13 Ring Of Fire - Johnny Cash 12 She Loves You - Beatles 11 How Do You Do It - Gerry And The Pacemakers
* One week at #9 in 1962, takes it just above Essex but below Chuck Berry, which is the biggest hit of 1963 that did not reach #1.
Dusty Springfield's first 3 weeks of 1964 would push her up to #7. It is #11 on its 3rd week and a further week might push it a bit higher.
Da Do Ron Ron appears to be the lowest placed #1, although it's still higher than their #2.

I did just realise I had not posted the top 10 so will do so now:
10 Walk Like A Man - Four Seasons 9 You Were Made For Me - Freddie & The Dreamers 8 Puff The Magic Dragon - Peter Paul & Mary 7 Blowin' In The Wind - Peter Paul & Mary 6 You'll Never Walk Alone - Gerry & The Pacemakers 5 From Me To You - Beatles *4 The Night Has A Thousand Eyes - Bobby Vee 3 Summer Holiday - Cliff Richard 2 Be My Baby - Ronettes 1 Forget Him - Bobby Rydell
Bobby Vee had one week in the chart in 1962 at #4. That's enough to lift it to second place.
Well done to Bobby Rydell for getting the #1 of the year on points, although in reality my top single of 1963 was probably "Be My Baby". That hit the top in the much stronger end of the year and managed 5 weeks on top in that period.
Well done also to Peter Paul & Mary for getting the highest placed 2nd hit.
