Do you suddenly wake up with a song in your head that you havent heard for 20 odd years and you just have to go play it. Anyone got any earworms, this is my one for this morning. Laidback - Bakerman
I remember when I first saw and heard this on The Chart Show just so catchy and different why wasnt it huge in the UK, I know it was a big European hit and possibly US as well.

Great song. Never heard of it before. A bit too laid back for radio I would have thought but captivating.
I have a soft spot for early 90s Brit soul. As well as Innocence (who deserve their own thread), Brand New Heavies and The Chimes, I love this beautiful no. 49 hit from the Soul Family Sensation I have to dig out once in every six months or so.

"Bakerman" was good, but much preferred "White Horse". That was another song that was huge in Europe, but not so much in the UK.

The words Bottle Store automatically puts Mambo No 5 in my head, I just can't get used to them not being called Off Licences in SA, and I have to drive past one pretty much most days to go to the supermarket (which is called Woolworths, and that took me equally as long to get used to)!

The Sounds of blackness 'I'm going all the way' is one that pops into my head often. I find it quite inspirational and it always gives me a bit of a lift. The same with the Brand new heavies 'You are the universe'.
