I bought vinyl for years when i was a mobile dj. May have bought only a little of it in the last 10 years, mainly artists i really love like Marc Almond. Im alway looking for any 7" vinyl on BBC records with a prefix of RESL on the disc as i love collecting tv themes. Also collect novelty records by famous people.
I still mainly buy cd albums though as i like to hold them and read the booklets , you cant do that with mp3 even though i have a lot of mp3 on my computer mainly converted from the cds.
I also still buy the odd occasional cd signle when my local hmv stock them such as the latest Pet Shop Boys single

No.
95 % of my favourites are not available on vinyl + huge prices + need to buy a record player e.t.c.

I bought vinyl first time around in the 1980s (1st single 1980 reissue of John Lennon "Imagine"; first album 1982 Duran Duran "Rio") through to 1990s, and got rid of most of my vinyl in 2010 to a Cancer Research Charity shop which raised over £400, as I had replaced mosdt of it for the non scratchy CD format.
So I won't be buying it second time around as I just don't have the room in my spare (bed)room for them.

I haven't bought any new stuff on vinyl, but I still have my vinyl collection of over 100 LP's bought from the 1960's to the 1990's.
