Apparently there could be a plagiarism lawsuit heading their way .... due to its similarities to a 1980s cartoon theme song .... I'll let you decide for yourself...

I think it's interesting to see how men of certain ages talk about certain artists for example
some men in their late 60's will talk Beatles and maybe Rolling Stones, men in their 50's talk Bowie and glam rock, men in their mid 30's now discuss Stone Roses and indie.
Interesting to see how the generations decide which acts are now their memories and talking points.

And what about those of us in our 40s, that are actually discussing the Stone Roses...

Yeah I think Stone Roses are more for the oldies in their 40s
I would say 30's are Oasis/Blur/Suede/Pulp/Kula Shaker/Shed 7/Cast/Bluetones/James Britpop years, it is with all my mates in their early 30s

Im in my early 30s and for me it is Britpop and then the mid 00s that are the main musical events and that was pretty much Britpop the second coming. The problem with Indie music now is that it is so hard for bands to really break through into the mainstream. Getting indie bands into the charts used to be about getting fans to buy 2/3 versions of the single, but now it is mainly streaming must of them just get swamped.
