I personally think there's something rather tacky about this.

I personally think there's something rather tacky about this. What an elected MP who was campaigning for Remain, who supported the work of the Syrian Civil Defense, a civilian organisation known as the White Helmets who have since been bombed to destruction by the Russians because they were the moderate democratic third faction in Syria between ISIS and Putin's aided President Assad's appalling Government; the anti fascist movement Hope not Hate; and racial tolerance being assassinated by a far right wing Britain First neo-Nazi nutcase who had been campaigning for Brexit. I'm sure Nigel Farage would agree with you, after all that cretin said on the morning of June 24th after that EU Referendum: " ..... And we will have done it, we will have done it without having to fight, without a single bullet being fired." On the day when our top British historian Simon Schama has accurately compared Donald Trump in a 10,000 word thesis as "a cross between Adolf Hitler & Simon Cowell". It is people like you who want to shut down tolerance & democracy, and by default support fascism, racism, & intolerance that utterly disgust me.

And they're summing all that up by recording "You Can't Always Get What You Want". Rubcale is right; it's incredibly tacky.

Seems a strange song choice, not least since I now associate it with Trump's election victory speech as it was played as he left the stage - song now ruined for me forever...

I'm sure the Rolling Stones didn't give him permission to use their song did they? But just seems that politicians do what they want if a song seems appropriate!

Very strange choice then as well - was it aimed at the democrats as a dig, or was it already playlisted by his team thinking he would lose? Very odd!
