24/10/2017 Camila Cabello ft Young Thug - Havana
The Cuban born singer who left the rubbish Fifth Harmony group continues to make a mockery of Simon Cowell's prediction on her solo success after ditching her Syco records group to sign to Epic records, has finally released the hilarious video (who knew rapper Young Thug could be so entertaining) for the current UK #2, Australia #2, USA #20, & Canada #9 hit. One thing for sure any support to displace that appalling "rockstar" single by Post Malone is very welcome. Her debut album is due for release early in 2018.

The Scots alternative rockers return with the title track of the new album of the same name available 9th February 2018. It is their first since guitarist Nick McCarthy left the band after 14 years back in July 2016, hence it is noticeably less guitar influenced than normal.

27/10/2017 Plan B - Heartbeat
London born Ben Drew returns after being off the music scene for 5 years with a taster from his forthcoming 4th studio album “Heaven Before All Hell Breaks Loose" reminding us that in his vacuum we've had to suffer from the existence of Sam Smith.

28/10/2017 The Fizz - Amen
With Halloween approaching what better than the stand out track from The F-Z of Pop album. Easily better than anything on the Steps comeback album probably because it sounds like a Stevie Nicks / Fleetwood Mac song given a Gothic pop makeover. Little wonder Noel Gallagher correctly pointed out this morning that this is more inventive and adventurous than anything on his younger brother's album.

That is pretty damn good, if I hadn't watched the YouTube video above, I would never have guessed in a million years that was the same band who did Land Of Make Believe!

29/10/2017 PINS - Serve The Rich
The Manchester indie pop group's song written in the aftermath of the 2016 European Referendum. Appropriately enough the video is shot at a anti-Brexit demonstration to hammer home the valid point.

31/10/2017 Sia - Santa's Coming For Us
I don't know about you, but what could be more Halloween themed (especially if you prefer treats to tricks) than a brand new Christmas song.... and that is what you have by the Australian hit machine, taken from her seasonal album Everyday Is Christmas out 17th November.

01/11/2017 NERD ft Rihanna - Lemon
The Neptunes are back after a lengthy break and return with this video clip, by directors Todd Tourso and Scott Cudmore. (Better than the new U2 single!)

02/11/2017 Robbie Williams - Run It Wild
The lead track from the forthcoming Under The Radar Volume 2 album, sounds like a mid 1980s Billy Idol rocker covered by Snow Patrol.

05/11/2017 Royal Blood - How Did We Get So Dark?
The Brighton hard rock duo's latest video is about a postapocalyptic future where grizzled road-warrior badasses get into highway battles over who can collect the most cute, fluffy bunnies.

06/11/2017 Gary Clark Jr - Come Together
The Texas born guitarist from Austin, Texas cover the Abbey Road album track featured in the Justice League Movie. It's contemporary sound continues to highlight the timeless nature of the Lennon/McCartney Beatles songbook, as this sounds like it could be a Muse; Arctic Monkeys; Queens Of The Stone Age; The Black Keys song from the last 12 months and not a cover of a 48 year old track.

08/11/2017 Harry Styles - Kiwi
Whilst his former bandmates (bar Zayn) have been stinking up the airwaves with different sounding solo efforts, the obvious talent from 1D returns with the latest single/video from his Mr. Benn like self titled debut album. This being the track on the album that sounds like a Royal Blood homage.

10/11/2017 Elbow - Golden Slumbers
Not only is this a brilliant return to form for the annual John Lewis Christmas advert. Not only is this a great cover of the Paul McCartney penned 1969 Abbey Road album track by the band Coldplay would be if they remained good and stopped chasing the lowest common denominator chart hits, and had a much better emotive singer (obviously), taken from their imminent first Best Of compilation.
But best of all it has got Daily Mail "I'm not racist" Brexiteer readers enraged at this act of treachery. How dare that British department store who actually allow their staff a share of the company profits, who's female managing director publicly and correctly spoke out at the damage Brexit would cause the UK, use a song written by a Remoaner; performed by an act who's lead singer works as a DJ for the "politically correct" BBC; featuring a mixed race family; and have the creature under the bed share its name with a famous expat Trump supporting Brexiteer (Already, the racist ex-Smiths frontman has attacked the video).
