HAVEN COMBI RETRO CHART W/B 20th JANUARY 1985

Foreigner manage to hang on for a fourth week at the top of the Retro Chart with I Want To Know What Love Is. Still topping three individual charts and amassing a very healthy 167 points, but it's a considerable drop from last week’s tally and a drastically reduced margin over the rest of the pack.





Strawberry Switchblade are stuck at number two with Since Yesterday, showing a slight growth in points and Top 3 in four individual charts…..do they have enough momentum after 13 weeks to make that final push to the top?


Elaine Paige and Barbara Dickson are up to number with I Know Him So Well, closely followed by Kirsty MacColl’s A New England and Ashford and Simpson’s Solid, as they both break into this week’s Top Five.


This week’s highest new entry is from Big Sound Authority with This House (Is Where You Love Stands) at number 21
