On Sunday 17 March 1996 these songs were announced as the UK's top singles for the week but which was your favourite?

oh very difficult
I chose oasis in the end, Don't look back in anger is a great song, the highlight from WTSMG
always thought this was gonna be their big big song instead of Wonderwall when the album came out

but was a close race as I also like Children a lot, thats one of the best dance songs ever
and Garbage, I also liked them a lot back then

the Garbrielle song it's not as good as those 3, but also liked it

the TT cover is horrendous and the worst by far

I never got why Take That released this when "Never Forget" was virtually their goodbye song, it just seemed to be for no reason.

Gabrielle has had better "Out Of Reach" being one of them "Give Me" was a little to MOR.

Garbage a good song

Oasis letting Noel onto lead vocals was an inspired move as his voice suited this much better.

Robert Miles interesting tune and a good dance song, not sure it has stood the test of time as it will always sound 90's but a classic and I personally don't know which is best out of the 5.

I will have to go and have a think.
