I read the plot that leaked back in 2016 (which has turned out to be 100% accurate so far) so I knew this was coming, but I still had goosebumps watching the episode and couldn't quite believe it.

I'm going to climb aboard my high horse here, and I expect to get thoroughly mauled but...
Isn't watching pirated editions of the show the same as handling stolen goods ? And doesn't doing this encourage hacking for profit - whether it be leaked episodes of GOT, or demanding a ransom from the NHS to unlock their IT systems ?
Cybertheft is a crime. Its the same people who develop their hacking skills on relatively benign targets such as Madonna's master tapes a few months before the album gets released, or a cult tv show a week before the scheduled episode airs, who go on to target electricity supplies, water supplies, satellite control stations and military installations.
I'm saying "don't support it". But I'll happily listen to the counter-arguments.

Not going to maul you, but you're a better man than most if you've never watched anything illegally online (including YouTube) or downloaded dodgy mp3s especially pre-iTunes. This case was slightly different in that the episode was wrongly aired by Sky Atlantic, *then* uploaded onto the net, rather than being evil hackers out to fleece poor HBO. I try to avoid dodgy downloads but when people are so thoughtless when it comes to spoilers, it makes life online a minefield if you try and wait for when things air. Now the networks have got wise to simulcast, there's rarely the need to download/stream something illegally ahead of time, but in any case I do, I always still support the proper version (I have a Now TV account, so they get my money that way and I always buy the DVD boxset when that finally arrives too).

I avoided plot spoilers, but I noticed on a Sky advert yesterday that the final moment of the episode is in a blooming montage of exciting images, hidden all along in plain sight!

Spoilers, because obviously someone dies! Cant wait till monday to talk about it and yeh watching stuff online illegally well considering streaming tv shows is actually a lesser crime than ripping a CD the whole thing is a nonsense. But yes we are the 'Everything Now' culture so might as well enjoy it while it lasts.

Spoilers, because obviously someone dies! Says who? Do we have many episodes of Game of Thrones where people don't die? What's the point?

I'm just saying please try and hold in the excitement until those of us can watch it legally. I'll hold off commenting until after 9pm, some absolute classic lines from Clegane though!

So the other dragons didn't notice that the dead white walker was about to throw a lance and kill their dragon Brilliant, but flawed, and as soon as the dragon crashed and drowned, I knew the white walkers now had a dragon in their army! The Arya/Sansa storyline still seems contrived as well, if Brienne knows Littlefinger cant be trusted, then surely Arya would spot that? Have to see how it pans out I guess? I assume we're staying in the north next ep. not sure really, maybe the dead thing gets taken back to king's landing? And the dead walk round the wall,or melt it now they have a dragon? And how did shireb know a dragon was going to die

Legit almost cried when the dragon was killed Spectacular episode, sadly somewhat overshadowed by the RIDICULOUS nonsense with Arya and Sansa, which, by the way, makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE to me AT ALL and seems COMPLETELY out of character for Arya... But on the plus side, the J-Team wasn't as cheesy as I was worried it would be (Tormund and the Hound provided some great wisecracks), there was lots of Night's King action, Uncle Benjen served his purpose, Daenerys finally got to see the Wall and the army of the dead and just in case an undead bear on fire wasn't exciting enough, we now have the imminent prospect of an undead dragon melting the Wall... This show is ridiculous

Given Daenerys can travel from Dragonstone to beyond the wall, on the back of a dragon, in not much more than 10 minutes, then presumably the white walkers can travel from beyond the wall to King's Landing in not much more than 10 minutes on the back of their dragon. Which means they don't need to attack the wall or Winterfell on the way ?
Anyway, it now seems sadly inevitable that there will be a dragon showdown at some point, and it is my guess that it is during this set piece that we will discover that Jon can ride a dragon. As a result he'll come flying to Daenerys' rescue at her time of need, just like the knight in not so shiny army that he is. And then they'll both realise that they must be related (cos otherwise how could he ride a dragon), and so they won't live happily ever after because they'll be rivals for the throne again.
Except they'll then be able to sort it out, cos Jon will say "I never wanted to be king", and Daenerys will say "I want to be queen, but only to make Westeros a better place", and Jon will say "let me be your hand, and I'll help you", and Daenerys will say "cool", and the whole show will end with a beautiful sunset. Except of course, it won't.

There was something significant in the leader of the Brotherhood (now on his last life) saying he could take out the leader of the White Walkers. We're certain to see that showdown at some point in the future. And, along similar lines, Melissandra's role in the story can't be over yet.
Away from all this hokum, we get the pathetic wibling rivalry between Arya and Sansa, which we'll simply gloss over. I'm far more interested to know what's happened to Euron and Yara. Will Samwell make it to Winterfell next week in his pony and cart, only to discover nobody knows who he is, and his hero (Jon) is now shacked up with the woman who's just incinerated the rest of his family ?

If I recall correctly, Ygritte (Jon Snow's wildling lover), rode off into the distance in season 3. It would be great if she made a return at some point, to say "I Love You Jon Snow".
We could have a quintuple wedding to finish the final episode.
Jon & Ygritte.
Grey Worm & Missandei.
Brienne of Tarth & Jaime (or The Hound)
Sansa & Little Finger
Daenerys & Tyrion
